We are pleased to announce that Commerce-UI has received three Webby Awards for our work on Lady Gaga’s project:
The Webby Award is the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet. The Webbys was established in 1996 and is now presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS) - a 3000+ member judging body. The body consists of leading Internet experts, business figures, creative celebrities, and Associate Members, who are former Webby winners.
This recognition emphasizes Commerce-UI quality-first technological approach and shows what can be achieved by combining state-of-the-art technology (in this case, Shopify Hydrogen, Sanity CMS, and MUX) with uncompromising designs delivered by Yung Studio.
Lady Gaga, one of the most charismatic artists of the 21st century, decided to revamp her website to showcase her creativity in various fields and create a place where she can talk about music in a visionary way.
The new site had to support a tailored and modular editorial experience, so that the artist’s team can add any page, content, or section she wishes to. Combining the right tech stack with meticulous designs allowed us to achieve this goal. Since the premiere, Lady Gaga's team changed the website several times. The newest version includes a collage maker designed for the Coachella festival.
We maintain our relationship with Lady Gaga’s team by working closely on new sections and introducing quality-of-live improvements. You can discover the details of developing a Shopify Hydrogen website for Lady Gaga in our case study.
